A BIT ABOUT SELF TAPES

Self tapes have become the norm in the acting industry now and casting directors want them to look professional, showcasing the actor at their best and all within a quick turnaround time.

Here at Select Self Tapes we will make sure all those important elements will be implemented.

What to Expect: The clock starts when the reading begins but I always have a quick meet &greet with my clients before we get into the audition.

Tips for the audition:

1) Try to not wear patterned clothing.
2) For women: don’t use too much make up unless it’s a character choice.
3) Be VERY familiar with your sides but ALWAYS have a printed copy in your hands, as this gives a subtle nod to the casting director that you are flexible and your audition is also a work in progress not a rehearsed performance.
